The Adamello Ski consortium has introduced an interesting technological innovation: Skiline.
The Skiline service, created in collaboration with Skidata (a company that provides innovative solutions to check admission access) gives skiers the chance to check their personal ski performance on the Passo Tonale-Ponte di Legno-Temù slopes: a diagram shows your total elevation gain and performance data including the number of lifts taken and the total amount of kilometres.
Just type in the number on your ski pass in the corresponding web page and you can then view a summary of your day.
At the moment, this service is provided by very few Italian ski resorts, placing Adamello Ski among the most up-to-date ski areas as far as new trends are concerned in the young and dynamic world of skiing. It’s a fun way to see your personal performance on the snow and to compare your day with other skiers and friends. In the future it may also open up new opportunities to compare your performance with other skiers on the slopes in Pontedilegno, Tonale, Temù and on the Presena glacier.
After introducing the Skifast system, that allows you to purchase your ski pass on-line (starting from December 2010), the Skiline system represents another part of the process that Adamello Ski has undertaken to adapt to technological innovation and the needs of a modern skier.
