Each Stelviobus' stop is the perfect starting point for simple walks and excursions of all levels.
Here are some tips:
1. VALLEY FLOOR TRAIL: PLAZZE DEI FORNI-CÒLER
Easy: 1h15 approx.
From the parking area, an easy path leads along the valley floor along the Rabbies stream to Còler. The route first crosses the playground, continues near the green wetland, reaching the old Venetian sawmill of the Bègoi. From here, avoiding the dusty transit way of the buses, you can walk uphill the path that skirts the foaming waters of the turrent, up to the plain of Còler. The path can be naturally walked downhill, in the opposite direction, after the ascent with the Stelviobus!
2. THE SUSPENDED BRIDGE ON THE RAGAIOLO WATERFALL
Easy: 1h30 approx. - LINE 1 PLAN STOP
From the entrance of the camper parking area, a flat path leads alongside the Rabbies stream to a bridge over the Ragaiolo stream. From here, reach the Suspended Bridge choosing between the stairs in the woods on the left or the forest road on the right. On your return you can pass by the Fratte hut and then by the Bègoi Venetian sawmill.
3. SAÈNT WATERFALLS
Medium - easy: 2h approx. - LINE 1 COLÈR STOP
The path on the orographic left gradually climbs up to the base of the waterfalls and then climbs sharply to the famous wooden bridge on the two great waterfalls. It goes down, continuing on the orographic right, passing through the Visitor Centre of the Stablét hut.
All forest roads are easily accessible by mountain bike and almost each lead to a refreshment point.
At many restaurants you can recharge your e-bike free of charge.
With wheelchairs and strollers we recommend the picturesque path from Plazze dei forni to the Bègoi Venetian sawmill.
