Val di Sole has about 100 lakes; some are isolated while others are grouped closely together, all reflecting marvellous blue and turquoise tones.
The majority of these alpine lakes are located in the Ortles-Cevedale mountain group, among the Peio and Rabbi valleys creating fascinating and unique landscapes.
There is definitely a predominant element in Val di Sole: the abundance of water that cascades down through the entire valley. The Noce River, which crosses through the valley floor, is a paradise for those who enjoy white water sports and a bubbly destination for all of the small torrents and streams such as the Vermigliana, Meledrio and Rabbies that flow down from the side valleys creating foaming cascades of water.
Mineral springs in the heart of the Stelvio National Park! Take care of your personal wellbeing and health with the Rabbi and Pejo thermal springs.
