With the organization of the 2008 Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships, Val di Sole made an important return to the international sports scene, therefore confirming and once again presenting itself as a world championship valley: thus proving that it is definitely an important and preferred destination point for tourists that want an active vacation, in particular for mountain bikers.
This international event was also a perfect opportunity to launch Val di Sole’s exclusive intermodal train-gondola lift transportation system, which at the same time also promoted its important train-bicycle transport service (Dolomiti Express) and the numerous MTB excursions in the valley.
The numerous biking and mountain biking itineraries in Val di Sole are all scrupulously tested by national instructors.

There is an itinerary for everyone, guaranteed: you can view all the routes on the map and choose from easy one-hour outings near the town of Malé to the most extreme level thatwill take bikers to the foot of Mount Vioz at an altitude of 3000 meters.
MTB ROUTES
Try these amazing itineraries in Val di Sole. Each route description provides technical data, such as altimetry, cycling time, etc. , map and GPS track to download on your navigation device. You can choose the routes that better suits your heart and abilities, according to difficulty level, elevation difference, length and required time.
DOLOMITI BRENTA BIKE
A fascinating 171 km-ling tour through the enchanting scenery of Brenta Dolomites. You can choose between expert mountain bike tour and country mountain bike tour.
If you prefer, you can reach MTB routes or Val di Sole bycicle path by the Dolomiti Express train specially equipped to carry bikes on the stretch Mostizzolo Mezzana.
Otherwise you can reach high altitude transporting your mountain bike on cable cars in Folgarida, Marilleva, Peio and Passo Tonale - Ponte di Legno.
And the bike? You can rent the bike model you like best in one of the bike and MTB rental shop of the valley.
Already familiar with downhill mountain biking? It may very well be the most adrenaline filled discipline of mountain biking: full speed down off-road trails and tracks in the wood
June 13th - 16th, 2013: MOUNTAIN BIKE WORLD CUP
Once again, for the fourth year in a row, Val di Sole will host an international mountain biking event: in Commezzadura, from June 13th to the 16th, mountain biking acrobats will compete for the prestigious World Cup for the Cross Country, Cross Country Eliminator, and Downhill disciplines.
